Surfing 4 Peace was formed in 2007 when members in Israel sent 13 surfboards into Gaza. The company is a non-profit that works as a people-to-people initiative. Instead of tackling peace process issues or big ideas, they simply try and help people connect through activity. They believe this may begin to nurture a peaceful mindset and loving community. They attempt to donate 23 more boards, hand-delivering them this time. But renewed violence between Israel and Hamas threatens to derail this plan. Along the way, Israelis, Arab-Israelis, and Palestinians who are affected by the violence speak candidly about their daily struggle to supersede the conflict through the pure joy of surfing.
